In Tribute June 9,1927 — December 13.1981 Charles Lindbergh Twitty Words cannot express the loss of a man such as Lynn Twitty. With 15 plus years service to the Polk County Sheriff's Department Lynn not only will be missed by his family and friends but by people all over Polk and surrounding counties His smiling face and friendly greetings will be cherished memories for all Lynn had an uncanning ability to rationalize with whom ever he encountered or whatever situation came before him He stood firm when necessary but spoke softly to avoid antagonizing the situation. A family man Lynn Twitty saw that his wife and children were cared for in many ways but possibly most important spiritually. His love for his family and fellow man were second only to his love for the Lord In this day and time when a word of testimony is seldom heard Lynn spoke daily of his King above A life long member of Green Creek Baptist Church he served in many capacities and til his death active daily “Service wasn't a word to Lynn but a way of life." Our sympanthy and love go to his family and friends and as the days have past it's still hard for me to realize Lynn is no longer with us. Sheriff Boyce Carswell & Staff
